On behalf of a hospital centrally located in the southeastern part of Norway we are looking for a specialist physician in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
The department of physical medicine and rehabilitation consults, diagnose and treat patient that has or are in the risk of having long-term handicaps because of illness or injury. The department is still developing and are increasing their activity with a new outpatient clinic and new collaborations.
Tasks:
Consulting, diagnosing and treatment of the patients in defined group of physical medicine/rehabilitating medicine.
Interdisciplinary work to assess and treat the patient’s needs.
Continue to develop a competitive offer with an outpatient clinic for patients needing help with work related health.
Qualifications:
European authorisation as a medical professional.
Specialist approval in PM&R (physical medicine and rehabilitation) from within the EU.
Special interest or experience within the specific field could erase the demand regarding specialist approval, but there is a definitive requirement to have licence to practice as a physician from an EU country.
You need to be able to communicate in one of the Scandinavian languages before you start, if you do not already know any of these, a language course will be offered – free of charge.
